We do not process and sensitive personal data (defined here by the European Commission) or financial information.
We collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, address and miscellaneous questions about preferences and or activities. We collect data only from forms given out in class or over the telephone or through our website. We use this information to contact the person completing our CPC course, marking completion of course via the RSA system and for confirmation with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. We use it for effective event communication, delivering marketing materials, carrying out polls/surveys, internal research, development purposes, sending text messages, providing goods and services and meeting any internal audit requirements. Our legal basis for processing your personal data according to the GDPR is the consent that you give us when submitting a form or by reaching out to contact us, you are showing a legitimate interest in our business. We will not add you to our marketing communications without specific permission given.
You can manage your consent and/or withdraw your consent at any time. You can unsubscribe by clicking on ‘unsubscribe from all future emails’ within all of our email footers or you can manage your email preferences by clicking on ‘email preferences’ within the email footer. If you would like to be removed from our database, you can reach out to us on firstname.lastname@example.org and request deletion.
BurkeCPC will treat personal data confidentially and it will only be disclosed to our third party CRM and marketing provider, HubSpot. Within HubSpot we will store and process your personal data given via the website only. You can read HubSpot’s Data Processing Agreement here. We rely on the integrity of the HubSpot software to protect your data. We have restricted the access to our HubSpot portal to only our users who have been trained in the use of the HubSpot software.
We keep your data on record until requested to delete it or we find that the email address is no longer active. If requested we will complete a GDPR compliant deletion within 60 days.
You can access all personal information that we have about you by submitting a request to email@example.com. We will send across all information that we have on you within 60 days. The request must be made from the email address that we have on file along with your full name, phone number (or other identifiable information that we have on record) as this is how we will be able to verify your identity. If you want any information corrected or deleted, this is your right.
